Touriscope sponsors the 2022 Symposium of Sustainable Tourism Quebec

During the summer, Touriscope formalized a sponsorship agreement for Quebec Sustainable Tourism Symposium 2022 (TDQ), an association that brings together businesses, organizations and individuals who want to mobilize and make Quebec a responsible and sustainable destination. The association's annual meeting is an opportunity to inform and mobilize participants around the issues, objectives and priority actions, while creating links between actors of change. This agreement is implemented through an exchange of services. It is therefore a considerable number of hours that our colleague Caroline Asselin offers for the organization of the event: she provides support in programming, guest coordination, communications and much more.

Supporting the organization of the Symposium was a matter of course since Touriscope has been a member of TDQ since its very beginning. Indeed, our colleague Nadège Domergue is one of the Founding Members And participated in the First Strategic Planning of the organization. Over the past few years, our team has been very interested in trends and best practices in sustainable tourism while training on the subject at academic institutions. Since this summer, the team has been working on a profound reflection on its corporate social responsibility and will soon publish its first commitment to this end.

About the Symposium - Together for a New Tourism

Tourism Durable Quebec (TDQ) invites all tourism stakeholders and the media to participate in the second edition of its Symposium Together for a New Tourism, which will take place on November 1, 2022 in a hybrid format. The event, which will take place at the Monastère des Augustines in Quebec City, is part of the Tourism Summit of the Quebec Tourism Industry Alliance, from October 24 to November 11.

The program has two goals. First of all, Nurture a profound reflection on the transformation of the tourism industry In a perspective that is more respectful of communities and the environment.
